The SpacePilot Pro is definitely Overkill for most CAD/CAM users. However, I strongly believe that if you work in front of a computer doing CAD/CAM for more than 4 hours a day, then you must invest in either this product or the SpaceMouse Pro. Why? Because the ergonomics of this product are top-notch and keep your arm/forearm/wrist/fingers from getting carpal tunnel. The program buttons are SO useful for assigning your SW short-cuts. Also, I can’t say enough about the quality of this product; I’ve had it for almost two years and it has never had an issue.
Cons:
The LCD screen is fun for about 1 day, but you’ll quickly realize it’s useless. The LCD panel is good however, for Photoshop. Price is too high for most people.
